This is a replacement for the old “mathlink” add-in. It works with the new Mathlink 10.2.x version but also supports the previous versions.
Version 10.2.x of MathLink adds new communication frameworks called OBJ (Object-Oriented) and OBJLIN.
OBJ[1] is a framework based on a document-oriented approach. It is not primarily intended for displaying mathematical expressions but rather for managing the state of an expression.
Object-oriented capabilities are provided by OBJ[1] which makes it possible to modify and update the displayed expression. The expression is therefore not stored in the usual formula or function, but in an object. The current object is maintained in the client’s memory and is not shared with other clients.
OBJ[1] is an extension of the MathLink object-oriented model. Thus, the mathematical features provided by MathLink are extended by OBJ[1] to provide object-oriented capabilities. Functions are added to support reading and writing in OBJ[1] format. The list of supported functions is maintained in an MSH[1] object within the database.
MathLink Version 10.2.x also adds a new communication framework called OBJLIN[2] that supports the reading and writing of data from and to OBJ[1] managed objects. OBJLIN[2] can be used to manage the state of the expression in an OBJ[1] object and also to display the state of the expression using the display objects of MathLink, in particular the Graphic Objects[3].
Another feature of MathLink Version 10.2.x is a new way to represent external objects. They are now represented as a tree of nested tables and a client-object identifier. Such an object is called a Nested Group[4]. The entire hierarchy of nested groups is maintained in a tree of nested groups, and a client-object identifier is used to access it.

System Requirements:

Minimum:
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8 64-bit or Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD Athlon X4 940
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 460
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Storage: 1.5 GB available space
